At the deceptive source ( imposter content ), malicious Telemarketing List distributors of fake news pose as reliable sources. As a result, the misleading information can still come across as reliable to some people. Screenshot of fake news website 'De Telemarketing List Telegraaf' For example, look at the screenshot above of a website that pretends to be De Telegraaf. The post states how Jort Kelder earns hundreds of thousands of euros by investing in Telemarketing List Bitcoin. This is a fake message spread by scammers. But because it's on a website that Telemarketing List pretends to be De Telegraaf, it still seems reliable to some people. 6. Manipulated Content If photos or videos are edited with the aim of misleading people, we are talking about manipulated content. It is Telemarketing List now very easy to edit photos and videos. That also makes it easier to create fake news. Screenshot of Facebook post-RTL Nieuws Just looks at the example above, which I borrow from a Telemarketing List extensive fact check by AFP Netherlands. On the right we see a Facebook post Telemarketing List about the war in Ukraine that RTL Nieuws actually shared. On the left we see a screenshot in which the image from the original message has been replaced by a scene from a movie. That screenshot Telemarketing List was often shared by people who thought they had evidence that RTL Nieuws uses false images and thus spreads fake news. Ironically, it was precisely these people who were spreading Telemarketing List fake news. Fabricated Content Finally, we arrive at fabricated content.
